Welcome Traveler!

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." ~ Proverbs 3:5-6

I'm very excited that you are visiting with us!  Here we cater to "nerd culture".  If you like games, we have it.  If you are into comics, we have you covered.  Role playing games?  Got that too.

Although this site is all about gaming, comics, and other "nerdy" hobbies, the most important thing of all is Jesus Christ.  "Nerds" are a unique bunch.  But the gospel applies to us as well.

If you are not interested in this, then feel free to browse the site.  If this peaks your interest, please read on!

WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?

The Gospel is simply this:

"16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." ~ John 3:16-17

God's "only begotten son" is Jesus Christ.  God had a plan from the very beginning to provide a way of salvation to his fallen creation.  That plan was to send His Son, Jesus (God in the flesh) to die as a sacrifice for our sins.

When Adam sinned, his sin corrupted all of creation. That “simple” sin was passed down to every generation and every child that is born since Adam (except for Jesus) is born with a sinful nature.  Which means that we are born with a natural desire to sin.

We have all done something that is sinful in God’s eyes. So, that makes us “sinners”. But that doesn’t mean that you are a horrible person. It can be the smallest sin (according to mankind's mindset). What that means is that you could tell a lie, steal something minor, purposely say something hurtful to someone. All of those are sinful actions, and it only takes one to make you a sinner. Being a sinner means that you are no longer perfect. You are blemished. You have "sinned".  That sin has corrupted you and now you are in need of some way to pay the price for that sin.

SO, HOW DO I GET SAVED?

Faith is deeper than belief.

"Even the demons believe—and tremble!" ~ James 2:19b

It’s knowing that Jesus is the son of the living God.  It’s knowing that Jesus died for our sins.  It’s knowing that Jesus rose from the dead. It’s knowing that Jesus is alive and at the right hand of God.  And it’s knowing that you are a sinner and that you have fallen short of God’s glory.

“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” ~ Romans 3:23

The man of God knows Jesus as his savior and has a personal relationship with him.

So, how do you get saved?  Romans 10:9-10 spells it out for us.

“9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” ~ Romans 10:9-10

It’s that simple.  If you believe in your heart that Jesus is real.  He really died on the cross. He really rose again. And you can say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved.

I'M SAVED, WHAT DO I DO NOW?

First and foremost?  Read!  Read the Bible.  The biggest problem with Christians today is they do not understand what's in the Bible.  Because they do not read it.  Don't be like them!  In order to know what God has to say about a topic, you have to read His Word (the Bible).  As you read through it, you will be challenged in what you currently believe.  You will be convicted of certain things in your life that God wants you to clean up.  But don't worry.  God will open your eyes and guide you along the way.

CONCLUSION
